Tonight, the second semi-final of Melodifestivalen, Sweden’s national selection, will be live from Malmö. Seven acts will try to win one of the two tickets for the Final. Those who will finish third and forth they’ll have a Second Chance on 2nd of March.
Five of the seven artists have previously participated. The only newcomers are Malou Prytz and Vlad Reiser.
- Andreas Johnson
Andreas Johnson is returning to the Melodifestivalen for the 7th time. He had previously participated in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2015.
- Malou Prytz
Malou Prytz will make her debut tonight with the song “I Do Me”, a pure dance song. Malou is just 16 years old.
- Oscar Enestad
The former FO&O member will try solo this year with the song “I Love It”. Oscar has previously participated in 2017, as part of FO&O.
- Jan Malmsjö
Jan Malmsjö, the 82-year-old actor and singer is trying for the second time in the contest history to represent his country. Back in 1969, tried again but finished second.
- Vlad Reiser
Vlad Reiser, will try to win at his debut to Melfest, with the Swedish song “Nakna I Regnet”.
- Hanna Ferm & LIAMOO
LIAMOO is coming back to Melodifestivalen for the second time, after finishing sixth in the final last year. Although, this time will sing along with the 2017 Swedish Idol runner-up Hanna Ferm. The song is titled “Hold You”.
The polish artist is returning for the second consecutive year, this time with the song “Tempo”. Last year finished seventh in the final. Margaret is the first and only, to date, Polish artist to compete in Melodifestivalen.
