Victor Crone For Estonia 2019

A few minutes ago Estonia chose its 2019 representative. Victor Crone, the Swedish singer, will wave the Estonian flag in Tel Aviv. The winning song “Storm” is written by Stig Rästa.

Victor Crone is familiar to Euro fans by competing in 2016 in the Swedish national final Melodifestivalen, along with the rapper Behrang Miri. The song “Det Rår Vi Inte För” proceeded to the Andra Chansen Round where it was eliminated by Samir & Victor. This year he participated in the Estonian National Final Eesti Laul, with the song “Storm” and won.

Stig Rästa

Stig Rästa the composer of this year Estonia’s entry has himself represented his country in 2015. Stig and Elina Born sang “Goodbye To Yesterday” in Vienna and finished 7th in the final. In 2016 he wrote the Estonian song for Stockholm. “Play” was sung by Jüri Pootsmann, but sadly the act finished last in its semi. Stig has written songs for the Estonian final in 2017 and 2018 too.

Estonia In 2018

Last year Estonia selected Elina Nechayeva to represent it to Lisbon. Her operatic-pop song, her powerful vocals and her long dress brought the 8th place in the final with a total of 245 points.
