Artist Profile: Estonia 2019 – Victor Crone

This year Estonia will be represented by Victor Crone. Victor is from Sweden. He was born on 31st of January 1992 in Österåker. Despite being from a musical family he began playing the guitar when he was 12 years old. After two years he had already started singing and writing his own songs.

In 2010 travel to the other side of Atlantic and compose songs in different USA cities like New York. His big step into the Swedish music industry came in 2015 when he participated in the exciting Melodifestivalen, Sweden’s national final, alongside with Behrang Miri. Their song “Det Rår Vi Inte För” managed to qualify to the Andra Chansen round where it was eliminated by Samir & Viktor.

In one year later Victor met Stig Rästa the co-composer of his song “Storm”. Stig represented his country in 2015 alongside with Elina Born and the song “Goodbye To Yesterday”. This is not the first time a Swedish to represent Estonia. The country was represented both in 2002 and 2006 by Swedish singers.

Estonia competes in 14th the place of the first semifinal.
