Felix Sandman and William Spetz star in the new Netflix Original series “Quicksand”. “Quicksand” or “Störst Av Allt” in Swedish is the first Swedish Netflix original. The show is based on the eponymous book Quicksand by Malin Persson Giolito.
The series is about the afterwards of a mass shooting at a prep school in one of the wealthiest neighbourhoods of Stockholm. Maja Norberg a student at this school finds herself on trial about the event. As the police try to solve the mystery many secrets came into the surface.
Felix Sandman stars as Sebastian Fagerman the boyfriend of Maja. Felix is well-known to the Eurovision fans by competing twice in Melodifestivalen – Sweden’s national final. The first time was in 2017, as a member of the boyband FO&O. The band managed to reach the final, where they finished 11th. Felix tried again, this time solo, in 2018. That time his song “Every Single Day” finished second, qualifying to the final through the Andra Chansen.
William Spetz is also known through Melodifestivalen, after being the co-host of the 2016 edition of the contest alongside with Gina Dirawi. In Sweden, he is well-known for his blog and his YouTube channel. William stars in the show as Samir Said.
The first season of the series is consisted of six one-hour episodes and is available for streaming through Netflix today.
