Georgia this year is represented by Oto Nemsadze. Oto 18th of June 1989, in Gori Georgia. His birth name is Otar Nemsadze. His mother taught him how to sing when he was 13.
His music career started in 2010 when he participated in the fifth season of Geostar and won it. In 2013 he took part to another music show, the third season of The Voice Of Ukraine, where he finished second. Three years later he participated in a different kind of show, on Your Face Sounds Familiar. Once again he was the runner-up.
In 2017 he tried to represent his country to the Eurovision, with the band Limbo, but he finished 10th. This year he took part in the Georgian Idol and won it. By winning he became able to represent his country in the upcoming Eurovision event. His song is titled “Sul Tsin Iare” – in Georgian “სულ წინ იარე” – which means “Keep On Going”.
Georgia competes 11th in the first semifinal.
