This year, North Macedonia is represented by Tamara Todevska. Tamara was born on 1st of June 1985, in Skopje. She was raised in a musical family.
Tamara is one of the country’s best-selling singers. She started performing when she was just 6 years old, however, her first album came out in 2005. Her debut was a great success and so was her second one. All these years she has won many awards for her songs and her performances.
She is not a newbie in the contest. In 2008, she won the national final and represented her country in the Eurovision along with Rode Vrchakovski and Adria Gaxha. Their entry “Let Me Love You” finished 10th in its semifinal but failed to qualify under that year’s voting system. Except for 2008, Tamara was also a backing vocals singer for her sister, Tijana Dapčević, when she represented their country in 2014.
Her entry “Proud” is dedicated to her two children.
North Macedonia performs 17th in the second semifinal.
