This year, Serbia is represented by Nevana Božović. Nevena was born on 15th of June 1994, in Kosovska Mitrovica.
Nevena is a familiar face to the Eurofans due to her two previous Eurovision participations. In 2007, she competed in the junior version of the contest, representing Serbia. Her song finished third out of seventeen songs making it the best result of the country in the contest. Her second attempt came in 2013, although this time was for the adult version. Nevana represented as part of the group Moje3. Sadly, their song finished 11th in the semi and didn’t qualify for the final.
Except for her Eurovision appearances, Navena has studied music at the University of Arts in Belgrade. She has also participated in the Serbian show Prvi Glas Srbije in 2013, where she finished second.
Earlier this year, Nevena won the Serbian National Final with her song “Kruna” and therefore she will be the Serbian representative this year.
Serbia performs 9th in the first semifinal.
Fun Fact 1: Nevena is the first artist to compete in both junior and adult version of the contest.
