Editorial: Second Rehearsals – Day 8

Photo by: Thomas Hanses / EBU

A couple of hours ago the last second rehearsals took place on Expo Tel Aviv.

Note: for my first reaction look older editorials (Day 6).

Israel 🇮🇱

The host nation had its second rehearsal. Better than the first one but I have to stick with my first rehearsal’s opinion. This song needs only the singer and no one else!

France 🇫🇷

The diversity of this performance is obvious. It can go pretty well, but I don’t think it’ll be o the top-5, maybe not even the top-10.

Spain 🇪🇸

I like very much the colourful result of the Spanish entry. Miki is very energetic and this is the most important thing for this song.

Italy 🇮🇹

An improvement in Italy’s rehearsal. Mahmood is one of the fan-favourites and with a performance like this can find himself on the top-5 of the final.

United Kingdom 🇬🇧

I like it but I don’t love it. Of course, Michale can sing but something is missing from the stage.

Germany 🇩🇪

It’s sad but I found a little bit boring today’s rehearsal. The camera’s angles didn’t really work for me!

Except for the second rehearsals, the Big-5 also allocated in which half they will perform on the final. I remind you that Israel is going to performed 14th (second half). From today’s allocation, Germany is going to perform on the first half of the final, whilst the rest of the Big-5 on the second half – France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom.

In a few minutes, the red carpet – the opening ceremony of the Eurovision will take in Tel-Aviv.
