ESC 2019: Time Travel Part 3

We are almost 2 months after Eurovision’s Grand Final. In this series of posts, we are going to travel through time and remind you some of this year’s best moments. All the events of Eurovision since the first artist announcement in late November until the Netherlands win in May.

Our third trip will be to the Thursday when The Netherlands release its song. The Netherlands, used an internal selection for both artist and song. Duncan Laurence, known in his country for his participation in The Voice and his song “Arcade” represented the nation.

His song was composed by Duncan de Moor (Duncan Laurence), Joel Sjöö, Wouter Hardy and Will Knox. The song was released on 7th March 2019.

Now in the aftermath of the contest, we know that Duncan was the winner of this year’s edition. This came as no surprise, as he was the bookmaker’s favourite all along.
