ESC 2019: Time Travel Part 5

We are almost 3 months after Eurovision’s Grand Final. In this series of posts, we are going to travel through time and remind you some of this year’s best moments. All the events of Eurovision since the first artist announcement in late November until the Netherlands win in May.

Our fifth trip will be on the Friday when Germany decided its entry. Germany used its national final “Unser Lied Für Israel” to select both artist and song. S!sters, won the show coming first among 7 finalists with their song “Sister”.

Their song was composed by Laurell Barker, Marine Kaltenbacher, Tom Oehler and Thomas Stengaard. “Sister” won the international jury and the televote on the German final, but came 6th in the Eurovision panel.

Now in the aftermath of the contest, we know that S!sters finished 25th in the final with a total of 24 points, only one place higher than the United Kingdom.
