ESC 2019: Time Travel Part 6

We are almost 3 months after Eurovision’s Grand Final. In this series of posts, we are going to travel through time and remind you some of this year’s best moments. All the events of Eurovision since the first artist announcement in late November until the Netherlands win in May.

Our sixth trip will be on the Saturday when Norway decided its entry. Norway used its national final “Melodi Grand Prix” to select both artist and song. KEiiNO, won the show coming first among 10 finalists with their song “Spirit in the sky”.

Their song was composed by Tom Hugo, HermansenFred-René Buljo, Alexandra Rotan, Henrik Tala, Alexander N Olsson and Rüdiger Schramm. KEiiNO won both the Gold Final and the Gold Duel round.

Now in the aftermath of the contest, we know that KEiiNO finished 6th in the final with a total of 331 points. Their song was the winner of the televote, but not the jury’s favourite.
