On this new series of weekly posts, we remind you the best entries that unfortunately finish last. Sometimes, even good songs don’t manage to succeed and we are here to freshen up your memory!
We continue our new series of weekly posts with something from the early 2010s. The year was 2011 when Cyprus was represented by Christos Mylordos with the song “San Aggelos S’ Agapisa”. Sadly, his song finished 18th out of 19 competing entries in the semi-final with 18 points.
Christos Mylordos was born in 30th of April 1991, in Nicosia, Cyprus. He has studied both in Greek and English school. From a young age, you took piano, guitar and vocal lessons. He had a degree from the Royal School of Music and Rock School of Music.
The song was a powerful song, with amazing lyrics and an ethnic vibe, but that wasn’t enough for qualification for the Mediterranean island. Of course, the staging was a little bit more bizarre, even for Eurovision standards.
