This year, Ireland is represented by Anna Kearney. Anna was born in 2006, in Dublin, Ireland.

She currently lives in Foxrock with her twin brothers and her parents. At such a young age she has already performed on Broadway and the National Concert Hall in Ireland. Her mother, Eileen Martin has appeared on the Eurovision stage, back in 1994 being one of the dancers of the interval act, the legendary “Riverdance”.

On the 1st of September, she appeared at the first heat of the Irish national final. A month later, on the 6th of October, she won the contest, singing Zara Larsson’s “Symphony”. The song was internally selected and released on the 24th of October.

Her song “Banshee”, it was composed by Cyprian Cassar, Jonas Gladnikoff, Niall Mooney and Daniel Caruana. The lyrics were written by Niall Mooney, Fiachna Ó Braonáin, Anna Banks and Anna Kearney herself.
