Lithuania 2020: Guide for Pabandom iš naujo!

Lithuania’s national selection will start this Saturday and will last for 6 weeks. This year the show was revamped and Eurovizijos is now called Pabandom iš naujo, which means Here We Go Again! Here is everything you need to know about the 6 shows!

The Format

The contest lasts 6 weeks. The first three weeks the 36 competing entries will compete in heats. In each heat 12 artists will perform their songs and half of the acts will proceed to the semifinals. Both a jury and the audience will have a say in the result in each heat.

The next phase of the national final is the semis. The 18 remaining songs will split into two semifinals. From each semi, 4 songs will qualify to the final.

In the final, the best 8 entries will do their best in order to win the golden ticket for the upcoming Eurovision! The final will be on the 15th of February.
