
Moldova, as usual, will select its participant through a national final. The O Melodie Pentru Europa 2020 consists one final, with a total of 20 participants.

Of course out of these 20 entries, only one will manage to win the ticket for Rotterdam. The final result will be a combination of jury and public voting.
From the list above there are three acts that have been once again in a Eurovision stage. Natalia Gordienko was the 2006 Moldovan representative in Athens. Her song “Loca” finished 20th in the final of the contest! Geta Burlacu represented Moldova in 2008, but failed to qualify in the final of the contest, placing 12th in her semi. Pasha Parfeny has also represented Moldova in 2012 in Baku. His song “Lăutar” placed 11th in the final. Denis Midone was the 2012 representative of Moldova in the junior edition of the contest.
The national final has multiple Eurovision expert composers like Dimitri Stassos, Nikos Sofis, John Ballard, Will Taylor, Dimitris Kontopoulos, Philipp Kirkorov and Sharon Vaughn.
