
It’s going to be a busy week for the Eurovision world! In the next 7 days, the last 15 songs of this year’s contest will be released.
3 March
๐ฎ๐ฑ Israel will select its song on 3 March. The artist is already known – Eden Alene. A jury and the public will choose among 4 songs!
4 March
๐ณ๐ฑ The host nation, the Netherlands, will release its entry. We already know that Jeangu Macrooy is the lucky singer that will sing in Rotterdam.
๐จ๐ญ On the same date, Switzerland will reveal both the selected artist and song!
5 March
๐ฆ๐น On that day, Austria will release its song. Vincent Bueno is going to represent the country in the next contest.
๐ฎ๐ช Ireland has kept secret both the artist and the song that will represent it to the upcoming Eurovision event. On 5 March both song and artist will be revealed.
7 March
The first Saturday of March will be a busy day for Euro-fans. A total of four national finals will take place.
๐ธ๐ช Sweden’s Melodifestivalen will conclude after a six-week journey.
๐ฉ๐ฐ On Denmark’s Dansk Melodi Grand Prix the public and the jury will choose among the 10 competitors.
๐ซ๐ฎ Krista Siegfrids’ fans will have the chance to watch her hosting for the fifth time the Finnish national final Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu.
๐ต๐น The final of Portugal’s Festival Da Canรงรฃo will take place on the same day.
๐ง๐ฌ Last but not least, Victoria will reveal her song that will sing in the Netherlands representing Bulgaria.
9 March
By next Monday all the entries of the 2020 edition of the contest must have been revealed. That day marks EBU’s deadline about the participations of the contest.
Unknown Dates (๐จ๐พ๐ฌ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ท๐บ๐ธ๐ฒ)
Seven countries haven’t announced when they will release their entries. Cyprus, Georgia, North Macedonia, Malta and Azerbaijan have already announced their representatives. Sandro, Tornike, Vasil, Destiny and Samira are the artists of those countries respectively. There are two countries that haven’t revealed anything about their participants Russia and San Marino. We do know although that both will decide internally.
We also wait for changes in the already released songs. As usual, many selected entries can revamp their songs. For example, Albania has announced that the song will be translated in English and Benny Cristo will also make changes to his song!
