We continue the National Final Reminder of 2020 with something from Finland.
Finland selected its representative through Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu. The music festival was held for the eighth time in a row.
The song “Cicciolina” was Erika Vikman’s entry to the contest. Erika placed first in the public’s voting and third in the jury voting. The song placed second after all with a margin of thirteen points from the winner. The song was composed by Janne Rintala, Mika Laakkonen, Saskia Vanhalakka and Erika Vikman.
Erika Vikman was born on 20 February 1993, in Tampere, Finland. She mainly sings Finnish-language pop songs. In 2013 she competed in the Finnish version of the music reality show Idol. In 2016 she became the queen of the Tangokuningatar, the oldest Tango festival. Since 2015 she has released a total of 4 singles. Except for a musician, she has also appeared in a Finnish Television series.
