We continue the National Final Reminder of 2020 with something from Australia.
Australia selected its representative through Australia Decides for the second year in a row!
The song “Proud” was Casey Donovan’s entry to the music festival. Casey came 3rd in the jury and 1st in the televoting. The final result was the 2nd place, with a margin of 7 points from the winning entry. The song was composed by Justine Eltakchi.

She is better known through her victory on the Australian Idol, in 2004. Her win made her the youngest act to ever win the show! Since 2004, she has released one studio album, two EPs and eight singles. Except of a singer and songwriter, she is also an actress, having performed in musicals (The Sapphires, Chicago). She has appeared in many TV Shows too. In 2017, she won the Australian edition of the reality competition I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Last year she sang in the 1st edition of Australia Decides as an interval act.
