
Serbia this year chose Hurricane as its 2020 representative. Hurricane is a three-member girl group, that formed in 2017. The members are Sanja Vučić, Ivana Nikolić and Ksenija Knežević.
Sanja Vučić is not new in the contest. In 2016, she was internally selected as the Eurovision representative of her country. She flew the Serbian flag to Stockholm and sang her song Goodbye (Shelter). The song managed to qualify to the final, where it placed 18th in a field of 26 with 115 points. Is noteworthy that Sanja speaks five languages: Serbian, English, Spanish, Italian and Arabic.
Ivana Nikolić she is a singer and dancer from Serbia. She has collaborated with Jala Brat (Bosnia & Herzegovina 2016). Together they have released a single.
Ksenija Knežević has tried to represent her country again in 2013. She competed in the national final as part of the group Sky. Their song qualified to the final but finished last. She is also the daughter of Knez (Montenegro 2015).
The group mostly sings in English but their Eurovision entry is in Serbian, with a some phrases in English and in Spanish. The song Hasta La Vista wa composed by Nemanja Antonić and the lyrics were written by Kosana Stojić and Sanja Vučić.
Serbia was going to compete in the first half of the second semifinal.
