National Final Reminder: María Isabel – La Vida Sólo Es Una!

We continue the National Final Reminder with something from 2016. Today, we will travel to Spain.

Spain back in 2016 decided its representative through Objetivo Eurovisión. Six songs participated in the live final selection.

The song “La Vida Sólo Es Una” was one of those 6 songs. The song placed fourth, 3rd in televoting and 5th in the jury voting. “La Vida Sólo Es Una” was composed by David Santisteban.

María Isabel

María Isabel was born on 4 January 1995, in Huelva, Spain. Her full name is María Isabel López Rodríguez. She rose to fame after winning the Spanish national final for the junior version of Eurovision. María Isabel won both the national final and the Junior Eurovision with the song “Antes muerta que sencilla”. Her victory made her the youngest ever to win the Junior Eurovision. By 2009 she had released a total of five studios albums and had toured in Spain, Latin America and the United States Of America. After she completed her studies she returned in music with the released of her sixth album. Her most recent work is her single “Sentir Cosquillitas” along with Moncho Chavea which was released on 27 March 2020.
