Friday’s Quote – Malta 1997!

Our quote today is from the Malta entry of 1997. The selected entry was “Let Me Fly” by Debbie Scerri.

Debbie Scerri was born on 29 March 1969, in Toronto, Canada. In 1997, she became the Maltese entry for Eurovision. At the night of the final she placed 9th with 66 points.

Her 1997 song was “Let Me Fly” and it was composed by Ray Agius, who also served as the conductor of the live performance.
