We continue the National Final Reminder with something from 2015. Today, we will travel to Austria.
Austria back in 2015 decided its representative through “Wer singt für Österreich? 2015”. Sixteen participants took part in the national selection.
Zoë was one of those 16 participants. Her song “Quel Filou” managed to place 3rd in the final of the show. The song was composed by Zoë herself and her father Christof Straub.
Zoë Straub or simply Zoë is an Austrian singer and songwriter. She was born on 1 December 1996, in Vienna, Austria. She tried to represent her country in the 2015 edition of the contest but she placed 3rd in the national final. The following year she competed again and won it. Her song “Loin d’ici” represent Austria in Stockholm, where it placed 13th in the final. Her debut album “Debut” was released in 2015 and was certified gold in Austria. In 2018 she was a judge at the San Marinesse national selection. The selected entry for the country was co-composed by her.
