EBU has released the four scenarios that is considering for the upcoming Eurovision event. With that scenarios the next contest is guaranteed that will take place.

Option 1

The first option is the contest as we know it. If everything is under control the contest will be as usual, with no restrictions at all.

Option 2

The second option is that some social distancing measures will exist. That will have mostly an impact on the audience of the events.

Option 3

The scenario number 3 will be used if some countries – or all – are unable to travel to Rotterdam due to COVID-19.

Option 4

The last option will be used if the situation looks like what happened to Europe this May. No country will send a delegation, there will be no live audience and the contest will use the help of technology in order to take place.
