Georgia in 2019 original selected Stephane & 3G to represent the country in Eurovision. The selected song was We Don’t Wanna Put In. EBU rejected the song stating that the song contains a political message – Put In sounded like Putin the Russian Prime Minister. Is noteworthy that a year ago, Russia and Georgia had an armed conflict. Georgia declined to change the song and the country withdrew.
