There are a number of songs that was selected to represent some countries in the contest, but for a variety of reasons the songs never made it to the Eurovision stage. In this series of posts we are going to remind you some of these songs.

Bosnia & Herzegovina 1999

Bosnia & Herzegovina in 1999 original selected Hari Mata Hari and their song “Starac i more”. However, the song had been released in the past by a Finnish artist. Therefore, the song wasn’t able to compete in the contest and was replaced by the runner-up Dino & Béatrice with the song “Putnici”. The song placed 7th with 86 points.
