Ukraine in 2010 internally selected Vasyl Lazarovych, then held a national final for the selection of the song and “I Love You” was selected. However, the broadcaster soon held a new national final for the artist selection, due to poor feedback from the public. Alyosha won the new national final. Her initial entry was “To Be Free”, but the broadcaster internally selected “Sweet People”, because her national final song had been made available to the public two years prior. The entry place 10th with 108 points.
