In this series of posts will present you Eurovision songs that have been released in a language different that the one that was performed on the ESC stage.
Today we travel to 1979 and the Israeli entry. Milk and Honey sang the Hebrew-language song “Hallelujah” on the final of the contest. Gali Atari, sing of Milk and Honey has released a number of editions of the sing. In 2019, she along with former ESC participants the song partly in Hebrew and partly in English. In 2020, she sang again the song for the special show of Eurovision — Eurovision Shine A Light — in three languages Hebrew, English and Dutch!
