Russia confirmed its intention to participate in the upcoming Junior Eurovision.
For the selection of its entry, the country will host a national final in September 2021! The submissions are open from the 20th of January and will remain until the 21st of August.
Russia is the fourth country to announce their intentions to participate. First, the Netherlands opened their submissions after the 2020 edition of the contest. Later, the winner France was announced the host-nation. Spain has also expressed its intentions.
Russia, this year, was represented by Sofia Feskova and her song “My New Day”. The entry placed 10th with 88 points.
