
There are a number of songs that was selected to represent some countries in the contest, but for a variety of reasons the songs never made it to the Eurovision stage. In this series of posts we are going to remind you some of these songs.
Greece 1978
Greece in 1978 was intended to select Anna Vissi and her song “Mr. Nobel” to sent in France. The artist was withdrawn from the contest due to controversies about the composition. Her placed took another artist Tania Tsanaklidou with the song “Charlie Chaplin” reaching the 6th place with 88 points.
