
There are a number of songs that was selected to represent some countries in the contest, but for a variety of reasons the songs never made it to the Eurovision stage. In this series of posts we are going to remind you some of these songs.
Cyprus 1988
Cyprus in 1988 was going to be represented by Yinanis Demitriou and his song “Thimame (San to rock ‘n’ roll)” to sent in Ireland. The country was disqualified after it was revealed that the song was released in 1984.
