Eurovision 2021: Armenia Withdraws From The Contest!

A few moments ago, we were informed through the official Eurovision site that Armenia withdraws from the contest.

The public television of Armenia, AMPTV, stated that it was unable for it to ensure a proper entry for the country, due to the latest events. In November, the country also withdrew from the Junior edition of the contest due to the country’s conflict with Azerbaijan.

Since the debut of the country to the contest, in 2006, the country has missed the contest only once in 2012. That year, the contest was held in Azerbaijan and the two countries were on a conflict.

Last year, Armenia was going to be represented by Athena Manoukian and her song “Chains On You”.
