Eurovision Songs In Other Language: The Netherlands 1969!

In this series of posts will present you Eurovision songs that have been released in a language different that the one that was performed on the ESC stage.

The Netherlands 1969

Today, we travel to 1969 and the Dutch entry. Lenny Kuhr sang the Dutch-language song “De Troubadour” on the final of the contest. The song was also released in a German version, under the titlte “Der Troubadour”. The Netherlands placed 1st in the contest along with Spain, France and the United Kingdom. The song was also recorded with English, Spanish, Italian and French lyrics!
