Earlier today, it was announced that two more shows will air this year related with the contest!
The Finnish representative of 2013 will host a special backstage show. The show will cover all events of this year’s contest, from the red carpet to the Grand Final. The show will take place this May.
Krista Siegfrids was born 4 December 1985, Kaskinen, Finland, to Swedish speaking parents. In 2011, she participated in the first season of the Finnish edition of The Voice. In 2013, she took part in the Finnish national selection UMK and she won with the song “Marry Me”. At her Eurovision performance she kissed one of her backing vocalist – the first ever Lesbian kiss on the stage of the contest. The song placed 24th in the final with 13 points.
After her Eurovision participation she tried to represent Sweden at the contest. She entered Melodifestivalen two times, in 2016 and 2017. Between 2016 and 2020 she was the presenter of the Finnish national final UMK – delivering amazing acts!
Eurovision Song Celebration
Eurovision Song Celebration will return this year. Last year, Eurovision Song Celebration pay a tribute to the 41 acts that was going to compete at the cancelled contest. This year, will take place one weak after the Grand Final of the contest and will show the Live on Tape performances of the 39 competing songs. With that way, fans will be able to watch the back-up performances. Krista will also host this show.
