There are a number of songs that was selected to represent some countries in the contest, but for a variety of reasons the songs never made it to the Eurovision stage. In this series of posts we are going to remind you some of these songs.

Belarus 2012

Belarus in 2012 was going to be represented by Alyona Lanskaya and her song “All My Life” to sent in Baku. Despite winning the national final the entry was replace by the second placers Litesound with the song “We are the heroes”. The Belarusian broadcaster was forced to change the entry, after it was accused for vote-fixing. At Eurovision, the second placers Litesound placed 16th with 35 points in the semifinal and therefore they didn’t qualify for the final.
