National Final Reminder: Ulrikke – Places!

We continue the National Final Reminder with something from 2017. Today, we will travel to Norway.

Norway back in 2017 decided its representative through “Melodi Grand Prix 2017”. Ten entries competed in the final of the national selection.

The song “Places” was one of those 10 entries performed by Ulrikke. The song is composed by Ulrikke Brandstorp and Tony Alexander Skjevik and placed 4th at the end of the show.

Ulrikke was born on 13 July 1995, in Sarpsborg, Norway. Her full name is Ulrikke Brandstorp. Her first public appearance was in 2013 she auditioned for the Norwegian edition of the Idol. In 2020, she won the Norwegian national final with her song “Attention”. On late 2020, she won the first season of the Norwegian version of The Masked Singer.

Her latest single was released a few weeks ago. The song “Falling Apart” – composed by Alex Charles, Helge Moen, Jim Bergsted and Ulrikke Brandstorp – was presented live at the final of Melodi Grand Prix 2021.
