This year Denmark is going to be represented by Fyr & Flamme. The duo was formed in 2020 and consists of Jesper Groth and Laurits Emanuel.

The duo’s first single was released on September 2020 and reached the 12th place on the Danish charts, later that year, they release their second single and the song reached the 7th place on the charts. In early 2021, they were announced as one of the competing acts of the Danish national final. Eventually, they won the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix last March.

Jesper Groth was born on January 31, 1989, in Denmark. He is a Danish comedian, actor and singer, primarily known through his role in the Danish television series Klaphat.

Their song “Øve os på hinanden” (“Practice on each other”) is composed by Laurits Emanuel and topped the local charts.

The song is going to compete 17th in the second semifinal.
