This year Georgia is going to be represented by Tornike Kipiani. Tornike was born on 11 December 1985, in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Tornike won in late 2019, the 2nd season of the Georgian Idol, which was used as a selection process for the Georgian artist. At the final, he sang Love, Hate, Love and won with 33,82% of the votes! In 2014 he competed in the first edition of the Georgian version of the X-Factor and won it. He had tried in the past to represent his country to the contest. In 2017 he tried with his song You Are My Sunshine, but he wasn’t chosen. Last year, his entry “Take Me As I Am” was composed by Aleko Berdzenishvili and Tornike Kipiani. This year, he was internally selected along with his song.
His Entry “You” is composed by Tornike himself.
The song was going to compete 10th in the second semifinal.
