San Marino this year chose Senhit as its 2021 representative. Senhit was born on October 1, 1979 in Bologna, Italy, her full name is Senhit Zadik Zadik.
Senhit performed in musicals in Switzerland and Germany, before returning to Italy. In 2006 she released her debut album and a year later she released her second one. In 2009 she released her third album. Two years later, in 2011, she was selected by San Marino as the country’s representative for Eurovision. Senhit sang “Stand By” in Germany, but she placed 16th in her semi and therefore she didn’t qualify to the final. In 2020, she was selected to represent the country once again. Her entry “Freaky!” was selected by the fans. Her song was composed by Gianluigi Fazio, Henrik Steen Hansen and Nanna Bottos.
After the cancellation of the contest, it was announced that she will represent the country in 2021. Last summer, she released a new single “Breathe”. From July and until April she released one Eurovision cover its month.
Her entry “Adrenalina” is composed by Thomas Stengaard, Joy Deb, Linnea Deb, Jimmy Thörnfeldt, Kenny Silverdique, Suzi Pancenkov, Malou Linn Eloise Ruotsalainen, Chanel Tukia, Senhit Zadik Zadik and Dillard Tramar.
San Marino was going to open the second semifinal.
