National Final Reminder: Ulrik Munther – Soldiers!

We continue the National Final Reminder with something from 2012. Today, we will travel in Sweden.

Sweden back in 2012 decided its representative through “Melodifestivalen”. Ten entries competed in the final of the national selection.

The song “Soldiers” was one of those 10 entries performed by Ulrik Munther. The song is composed by Ulrik Munther, Johan Åberg, Linnea Deb, Joy Deb and David Jackson and placed 3rd at the end of the show with 88 points.

Ulrike Munther was born on February 18, 1994 in Kungsbacka, Sweden. At the age of 15, he competed at the junior edition of Melodifestivalen and won. Following his victory, he represented Sweden at the MGP Nordic. In 2011, he released his debut album which topped the Swedish charts. He competed two times in Melodifestivalen in 2012 and 2013. On both occasions, he placed third. In 2013, he released his second album and in 2015 his third. His most recent album was released just a couple of days ago!
