The third day of rehearsals took place today. The first 9 acts of the second semifinal rehearsed at the Rotterdam Ahoy.
San Marino 🇸🇲
Senhit was the first to perform today. Senhit performed a Senhit entry, I mean look at the outfits! The vocals are good and Senhit and her four dancers use all the stage. The rap part was done, today, not by FLO RIDA, but its still unclear if the American rapper will be on Rotterdam in the future. Many fans speculate, that he will join San Marino’s team due to his name being appeared on the background.
According to eurovision.tv, Senhit said:
“My very talented friend Samuel was rapping with me on stage today, but if Flo Rida will come or not… we’ll discover together soon.”Source: Eurovision.tv
Estonia get second on stage today. Uku kept many things similar to the national final performance. Vocally is good, but I don’t know if he will be memorable coming after San Marino’s entry!
Czech Republic 🇨🇿
Benny Cristo entered the stage today. His appearance doesn’t use any huge props, but it’s good. His vocals are similar to the recorded ones and that’s very important. His moves are good and well performed. Benny is accompanied by four dancers and I think seems really good in his sparkly jacket.
Greece rehearsed today for the first time. Stefania presented a performance full of visual effects. Her purple outfit looks great under the lights, whilst the dancers are more simple dressed. Due to the visual effects its a risky business for Greece. Many things can not work, however, Stefania’s vocals are perfect!
Vincent Bueno was next on stage. Nice vocals and nice outfit – black but yet sparkly enough. The question is: Can his performance take him to the grand final? I don’t know… He is after an uptempo song – Greece – and Moldova – another uptempo entry – is just two songs after him. That is making it hard for him to not be forgotten.
Rafał from Poland did a nice job with his performance. I don’t think it will stand out, but I give him more chances now than before the contest. The outfits are simple, but at least we see the singer without his glasses!
Natalia’s performance looks similar with her video clip… at least the choreography. I like her outfit, but I think the performance could be better. The dancers match with the whole show and the movable floor is a nice prop.
Iceland managed to deliver a nice version of the song. I’m not a huge fan of it and yet I enjoyed it. The outfits are the well-known green ones and the moves remained funny as always.
Definitely one of the most energetic performances of the day. Hurricane deliver beautiful vocals and a nice choreography. However, I feel that a couple of dancers will be a nice addition.
Tomorrow, the remaining eight countries of the second semifinal – Georgia, Albania, Portugal, Bulgaria, Finland, Latvia, Switzerland and Denmark – will perform their songs for the first time on the Eurovision stage.
