The eighth day of rehearsals took place today. The pre-qualifying entries of the contest – Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, France, United Kingdom and Spain – performed their songs for the second time on the Eurovision stage.
Italy’s performance is well organised and makes you enter Måneskin’s world. The pyros suits perfectly the parts of the songs they appeared. Definitely my favourite Big-5 entry.
Jendrik is just the epitome of an energetic performance. I don’t think sadly that he will finish in the left side of the scoreboard at the end of the night.
The Netherlands 🇳🇱
The Dutch entry has improved between its first rehearsal. They don’t change any graphics, but simply their confidence.
Barbara has winner’s vibes. However, I’m not sure that Barbara’s entry can win, though I can see the entry in the TOP-5 at the end of the show!
United Kingdom 🇬🇧
Every time I watch James Newman’s entry I’m starting to believe it will fail to make a nice impression to the audience. I find it more and more a safe option for the contest.
I like the aesthetic of his performance… Blas is very sentimental and he can really hit the high notes. Sadly, I don’t feel Spain will get a good placing in the final.
Tomorrow, the Turquoise carpet event will take place at 18:00 CEST!
