National Final Reminder: Natalia & Miki – Nadie Se Salva!

We continue the National Final Reminder with something from 2019. Today, we will travel in Spain.

Spain back in 2019 decided its representative through Operación Triunfo 2018. Ten entries competed in the national selection.

The song “Nadie Se Salva” was one of those 10 entries performed by Natalia and Miki. The song was composed by María Peláe, Nil Moliner and Javi Garabatto. The entry placed 3rd.


Natalia Lacunza Sanabdón or simply Natalia was born on January 10, 1999, in Pamplona, Spain. She rose to fame through the Spanish music show Operación Triunfo. At the show she placed third. She is signed with Universal Music Spain. She has released 2 EPs, 1 Live Album and a couple of singles.


Miki was born on the 6th of January 1996 in Barcelona, Spain. His full name is Miguel “Miki” Núñez Pozo. In 2018, he auditioned for the 10th season of the Spanish music reality show Operación Triunfo, where he managed to make it to the live shows. On the show, he reached the semifinal, but he was then eliminated, finishing 6th. Later in 2019, he was one of the thirteen contestants that performed in a special show in order to represent their country in Tel Aviv. Miki was given three songs, two of which was performed in the Eurovision gala. His song “Nadie Se Salva” – duet with Natalia Lacunza – finished third, whilst his solo song “La Venda”, won the whole event, beating even the odds favourite. In the contest, he placed 22nd with 54 points. In the same year, he released his debut album, which topped the Spanish charts. In 2020, he made his debut as a TV presenter. Last November, he released his latest album, which reached the 4th place on the Spanish charts.
