Country Of The Month: San Marino Part-3!



We continue our series of articles “Country Of The Month” with San Marino. In a period of four weeks, we are going to remind you of the best entries of San Marino. Note: we selected the entries not by their place in their final, but by their impact on the fans.

Senhit – Adrenalina

In 2021, San Marino selected Senhit and her song “Adrenalina” to sent in Rotterdam. The song is entirely in English, with one word in Italian (adrenalina).

It was composed by Chanel Tukia, Tramar Dillard, Jimmy “Joker” Thörnfeldt, Joy Deb, Kenny Silverdique, Linnea Deb, Malou Linn Eloise Ruotsalainen, Senhit Zadik Zadik, Suzi Pancenkov and Thomas Stengaard. At the final, the entry placed 22nd with 50 points.

San Marino in the Eurovision 🇸🇲

San Marino debuted in the contest in 2008. Since then, the country has participated 11 times. Between 2009 and 2010, San Marino didn’t enter the contest due to financial difficulties.

The country has qualified three times for the final, in 2014, 2019 and 2021. Its worst result came in 2008 and 2014, when the country placed last in the semifinal. In 2008, San Marino scored 5 points and in 2014 just one.
