This year, Armenia is represented by Maléna. She was born on January 10, 2007 in Yerevan, Armenia. Her real name is Arpine Martoyan, but her stage name is Maléna Fox or simply Maléna.

Her first attempt to represent Armenia at Junior Eurovision was in 2018. She competed in the national final with the song “Par”, but didn’t make it to the final. In 2020, she was internally selected along with her song “Why”, but she never perform the song at the Eurovision stage. Armenia withdrew from the contest due to the then ongoing political crisis of Nagorno-Karabakh.

This year, the Armenian public broadcaster gives her the chance to sing for her country. For that reason she collaborated with TKN label, which is owned by Tokionine (Armenian National Final 2020, Armenia 2019 – composer).

Her song “Qami Qami” is composed by Vahram Petrosyan, tokionine, Maléna and David Tserunyan.

Armenia will perform 9th at the contest.

What do you think about the song? Is it going to give the country its second win?
