This year, Azerbaijan is represented by Sona Azizova. She was born on March 25, 2009 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Despite of her age, she has competed in a number of contest in countries like Romania and Serbia. She has also competed in the Azeri version of The Voice Kids a few months ago, in which show she placed 2nd.

Sona was internally selected for Junior Eurovision. Her song “One Of Those Days” is composed by Maria Broberg, Fransisco Faria, Martin Wiik, Hampus Eurenius, Javid Shahbazbayov and Sona Azizova.

Azerbaijan will perform 14th at the contest.
