This year, Kazakhstan is represented by Alinur Khamzin and Beknur Zhanibekuly. Alinur Khamzin was born in Oral, Kazakhstan. The young artists except of singing he plays also the piano. Prior to his participation in the national final of his country, he competed in the Voice Kids and several other local competitions.

Beknur Zhanibekuly was born in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, but currently lives in the host country of this year’s Junior Eurovision.

The two artists top the voting of the jury and televoting respectively. Thus, the broadcaster chose to sent both artists in Paris.

Their song “Ertegı älemı (Fairy World)” is composed by Nurbolat Qanay and Gabriel Boileau Cloutier.

Kazakhstan will perform 10th at the contest.
