This year, Ukraine is represented by Olena Usenko. Olena was born on June 18, 2007, in Bila Tserkva, Ukraine.

Olena or sometimes Ellen she currently studies at Katapulta Art Music School in Kyiv. In 2020, she competed in the Ukrainian national final for JESC, but she placed second. This year, she competed again and won.

Her song “Vazhil”, which means “Leverage”, is composed by Olena Usenko and Kateryna Komar.

Ukraine will compete 12th in the final.
