JESC 2022: Ireland Confirmed Participation!

It’s official, Ireland will compete in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022!

The Irish-language public broadcaster, TG4, confirmed the participation of Ireland to JESC. The country has participated 6 times in the past, with its best result in 2016, when it placed 10th.

In 2021, Ireland placed 18th in the contest with 44 points. Maiú Levi Lawlor sang the Irish song “Saor”.

Six more countries have express their intention to the upcoming contest: Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Poland, Spain and the Netherlands.
