Croatia 2022: Dora – Songs Released!

Dora will return this year!

At this year’s Dora, the Croatian national final, 14 artists will participate in order to get the ticket to Turin.

The songs of the national final has been released!

Elis Lovrić – No War
Ella Orešković – If You Go Away
Erik Vidović – I Found You
Jesse – My Next Mistake
Marko Bošnjak – Moli za nas
Mia Dimšić – Guilty Pleasure
Mia Negovetić – Forgive Me (Oprosti)
Mila Elegović – Ljubav
Roko Vušković – Malo kasnije
Tia – Voli me do neba
Tina Vukov – Hideout
ToMa – In the Darkness
Zdenka Kovačiček – Stay on the Bright Side

Returns

This year’s version of Dora saw the return of 8 artists! Five of the returned artists competed also in last year show!

Bernarda, Ella Orešković, Erik Vidović, Mia Negovetić and ToMa all five of them participated in 2021 version. Elis Lovrić and Zdenka Kovačiček competed in the 2020 version, whilst Tina Vukov tired to represent Croatia in 2006, 2007 and 2011.

Dora 2022

Dora 2022 will take place on February 19, 2022. From the 14 participants only one will manage to represent the country in Turin. The winning entry can not longer been revamped for Eurovision. Thus the selected entry will be sung at the show in their final edition.

In addition to the 14 entries, four more were announced. The four more participants will be used in case some of the original 14 cannot participate at the night of the final.

The four artists are:

  • Karlo Vudrić – 3AM
  • Stella Scholaja – Ghost
  • Totalni Optimizam – What If
  • Vlatka Burić Dujmović Vyan – Gladiator

Is noteworthy that the majority of the participating songs will be sung in English.

Croatia in 2021

In 2021, Croatia selected Albina to sent at Rotterdam. Albina sang her song “Tick-Tock”. The song placed 9th in the televoting and 10th in the jury voting at the 1st semifinal, but the points it gathered wasn’t enough for Croatia to qualify. Albina placed 11th with 110 points in its semifinal.
