
This Saturday, the second phase of the second chance of the Norwegian national final will take place.
Four songs will compete in order to win the final ticket of the final.
How it works
On each semifinal, the four competing entries allocating in two duels. The winner of each duel will continue to the second phase of the show. The remaining two will once again sing their songs and a new voting will determinate the winner. Only one will be qualified to the the final. Although, the three non qualified entires will still be able to hope for qualification at the Second chance round.
The Norwegian national final this year will consist of four semifinals and one second chance show. At each semifinal – including the second chance round – a prequalified to the final artist will present its entry. A total of 10 entries will compete in the final.
Mari Bølla – Your Loss
Maria Mohn – Fly
Maria Mohn was born on May 29, 1983, in Noway. She is a singer, pianist and songwriter. She commence her solo career in 2010, when she released her debut album. She debuted in MGP, in 2020, when she sang along with fellow semifinalist Kim Wigaard.
Kim Wigaard – La Melodia
Kim Wigaard is an established Norwegian singer and songwriter, known for his opera singing style. In 2020, he competed for the first time in the semifinal along with Maria Mohn.
Trollfest – Dance Like A Pink Flamingo
Trollfest is an 8-member band from Oslo. The folk metal band dates back to 2003 and has a rich discography of 8 studio albums.
Anna-Lisa Kumoji – Queen Bees
Anna-Lisa Kumoji was born in 1990. She is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and actress. She has play in a various of musicals. In 2019, she participated in Melodi Grand Prix. Her song “Hallo” managed to placed fourth. This year she will participate for the second time.
